Accepting new and returning Students
The Pennsylvania MESA Computer Science Boot Camp is a twelve-week program at Temple University - College of Engineering that provides high school students with an insight into the exciting field of computer game development. Participants will be introduced to Java and Unity Programming skills through interactive, hands-on learning activities. Upon completion of program students will also have the opportunity to take the Oracle University Certification Exam - Java Foundations Certified Junior Associate.
Dates Session II: 28 January - TBD Spring, 2017
Eligibility: Rising 8th grade through 12th grade.
Admission to the program is competitive. Students must have taken one year of algebra and have some interest in math, engineering, or IT sciences.
Applications: PA MESA 2016 Computer Science Application
Cost: $20/class, ($250/semester, $500/year - payments due on a semester basis)
Covers daily lunch, T-shirt, and Student Resources and Oracle Exam for qualified students
Registration Method: PA MESA 2016 Computer Science Registration
Deadline: 25 Janurary, 2016 (Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis) - Oracle Exam for qualified students

Pennsylvania MESA Philadelphia Regional Competition Winners Compete at National Competition
Pennsylvania MESA is extremely excited to announce the Philadelphia Regional Competition Winning Teams. George Washington Carver High School for Engineering and Science took first place at the High School level and Ad Prima Charter School took first place at the Middle School level. These two teams represented Pennsylvania MESA in national competition in Ogden Utah.
